The importance of meeting deadlines.

Meeting deadlines in business and education is very important.   Deadlines were put in place for a reason and not meeting them can have consequences.  in education not turning something in on time can mean a reduction in grades, or in the case of permission forms, the exclusion from certain events.  in business if you turn in work late, you could be hurting your employer and in extreme cases you could be fired.  if you aren't going to meet deadlines then what is the point?  Not doing stuff on time can only be negative for you or others.

Using a wiki to communicate information

A wiki can be an excellent tool for communicating information to other people.  the power of wiki sites comes from the fact that they can be edited by many different people to create a collaborative effort.  this way, information can be quickly put up by many different sources.  wikipedia is a great example of how a wiki can be used to spread a vast wealth of information.  with wikipedia, anyone can post information about anything, and it is constantly adding and updating the information so that it stays accurate and up to date.  with stuff like books the information could be outdated quickly, but with a wiki, people can quickly edit and update the existing info.

Diigo

Diigo is a helpful tool that lets you share bookmarks with people all over the world.   it can be used in many different situations and by people ranging from businesses, high school students, or anyone that needs to find information easily.  it can be used for businesses to help them market more effectively.

Digital Communication

Communicating digitally has become a very big part of our modern culture.  There are almost infinite ways to do this with all of our many advancements in technology.  These can include texting with cellphones, using computers, or playing online games.  This can be either a good or bad thing depending on the situation.
